Kurt Nyman is a Partner of Pelham S2K and a member of the Pelham S2K Investment Committee.

Previously, Kurt was a Senior Managing Director and Partner at Smith Whiley & Company.  Prior to that, Kurt held numerous positions at Hartford Investment Management Company, including Co-Head of Alternative Assets, Head of Secondary Trading, Interim Head of Private Placements and Portfolio Manager for Below Investment Grade Private Placements.  Prior to that, Kurt held numerous positions at Aetna Life & Casualty, including Chief of Staff for the CFO of ALIAC, Managing Director for Private Placements, Head of Media, Head of Secondary Trading, Senior Member of the Food and Consumer Products Industry, Portfolio Manager for Aetna Life Company, and Director of Investment Strategy and Planning.  Prior to that, Kurt was the Corporate Controller for Dairy Mart, Inc. and a senior analyst for Combustion Engineering.

Kurt earned a B.S. in Accounting from Bryant University and an M.B.A. with a concentration in International Finance from The Barney School of Business at the University of Hartford.
